What makes Rinse's Shampoo Bar different from the shampoo I'm using?
The Unscented Sulfate-Free Shampoo Bar stands out due to its unique blend of natural ingredients oils. Most shampoos on the market have SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS)/SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (SLES) but these don't, making them gentler on your hair and better for you all the way around. Our other shampoo bars have Sodium Cocoa Sulfate that is made from the fatty acid of coconuts, not petroleum like SLS's. This bar doesn't have any of the sulfates making it the purest bar that we have. The cherry-on-top is the fact that there is no plastic bottle at the end of your shampoo!
Why would I use this bar instead of one of the other shampoo bars?
When used in shampoos, sulfates are intended to strip away the oil and remove dirt. But for some people, you don't need uite as much stripped out. That's where sulfate-free comes in!
How long will a bar last?
Your Unscented Sulfate-Free Shampoo Bar will last up to 70 washes! That of course depends on how much hair you have but it can replace around 3-6 traditional bottles of shampoo!
I have super thick hair. Will the bar actually be able to lather up enough to clean all of my hair?
Yes! If you've never used a bar shampoo before, we know it sounds strange to rub a bar all over your hair. But as soon as you rub on the bar, it immediately starts to lather up & you can scrub all the way down to the root of all of your strands!
How often should I wash my hair with the Unscented Sulfate-Free Shampoo Bar?
That is completely up to you! We have found that among the men & women who have tried the bars, the bars got their hair so clean that they could go longer in between washes. Not washing your hair every day can be super beneficial for hair and scalp health!
Do I have to pair it with a conditioner?
We recommend following up with a conditioner bar but most likely you need less conditioner than you think so start off small. After your hair is dry, see if you need more the next wash.
