A five-minute foot ritual (from the blog)

Start with a warm soak when you can — softens the skin so polish and balm can do their job.

Feet have much thicker skin, especially on the heels, so a foot balm is more concentrated in rich butters than a thin body lotion — it's made to sink into the spots regular lotion can't.
