Our tallow is from 100% grass-fed cows so it is similar to the natural oils of the skin. It absorbs well & hydrates effectively for all skin types, even oily skin & tricky skin. It also acts as a barrier to keep the moisture in and the drying irritants out for longer. The Squalane Oil is also an amazing oil that is easily absorbable & nourishing for all skin-types as well. The added Frankincense Essential Oil is 100% organic and natural and is said to be great for experienced skin & scarring.

What skin types benefit from Tallow Balm?

Tallow Balm is perfect for every skin type, whether you have oily skin, acne-prone skin, or dry skin. Since it is super-moisturizing, it is great for dry skin. But oily skin people, don't let that scare you! Your skin might be oily because you aren't using enough moisturizer & your skin is over-compensating. Adding in Tallow Balm gives your skin what it is looking for.

Is it safe for tricky skin issues such as eczema & psoriasis?

Yes! The Tallow & Squalane Oil are both great, safe, calming moisturizers that we would recommend for any skin type, even tricky ones.

Is Tallow Balm organic?

The Tallow that we use comes from 100% grass-fed beef that is also 100% organic. The Tallow Balm is made from 100% naturally derived ingredients & it is paraben free, phthalate free, cruelty free, & gluten free.

What makes Tallow Balm different from other moisturizers?

Unlike some other moisturizers, our Tallow Balm is incredibly lightweight and non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores. It is also as natural to your skin's natural oils & lipids as we can make so that makes it easily absorbable while also creating a barrier so that the moisture stays in and the drying irritants stay out.

Can Tallow Balm be combined with other skincare?

Absolutely! It pairs wonderfully with other ingredients that your skin craves. We recommend using it after you have applied all of your other serums so that it is the last thing you apply. It creates a barrier so you wouldn't want to apply anything after, it might not soak in.

It's made from Beef Tallow... does it smell like beef?

No! Trust us, we went through many rounds of production to make sure that this product was perfect. It has a light, earthy scent from the Frankincense Essential Oil.

Is Tallow Balm suitable for all-over body use?

Definitely. It can be applied to your entire body, including areas with rough patches, to enhance skin hydration and overall skin texture.
