Why is this item only 88% Natural?

Since there is sugar in the scrub, we need to use a preservative to keep everything from getting too gunky or icky & so it can last as long as possible! But the preservative is Paraben-Free, Phthalate-Free, Gluten-Free, & Sulfate-Free.

Is this vanilla sugar scrub suitable for all skin types?

Yes! Our scrubs are made with you in mind, meaning they are made without harsh ingredients to be natural and gentle on your skin without being too oily or thick. Our vanilla sugar scrub gently exfoliates, making it suitable for a variety of skin types. Because of the lack of harsh ingredients, it can help moisturize the most sensitive skin, and can even help improve eczema and acne.

What makes this product different from other scrubs and exfoliators?

Unlike other sugar scrub products, the oils & butter in our Body Buff will actually change into a nice light moisturizing lotion on the skin. Yep, you read it right, you will make lotion! Also, we specifically formulated this product to have a slushie consistency, so you don’t have to dip your hand through a vat of oil to get to the good scrubby part. 

Is this body buff a sugar or salt scrub and what is the difference?

Our Body Buff products are all sugar scrubs! We chose to use white sugar as our exfoliant instead of salt because sugar tends to be more gentle on the skin, making it suitable for dry or sensitive skin types, especially since sugar can also help draw moisture into the skin. Salt scrubs tend to be more harsh on the skin, but are rich in minerals and can help soothe muscles.

How often should I use this body buff?

We recommend using your body buff a few times a week, or less if your skin is extra sensitive to exfoliation. If you use an exfoliating product too much it has the potential to over-exfoliate the skin, stripping it of its natural oils and leaving it irritated.

How should I store my body buff?

Keep your Body Buff happy by storing it at room temperature and out of sunlight. This way, it stays fresh and ready to give your skin all the goodness it deserves.

When to use sugar scrub?
