White Quartz Gua Sha Sculpting Stone

The five minutes that make a difference before you leave the house. A polished white quartz stone you draw across oiled skin — jaw to ear, brow to hairline — to move fluid and release the tension that builds overnight. Mornings, on damp skin with a facial oil. A stone, not a gadget.

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese technique, and the tool is deliberately simple: no motor, no charging, nothing to break. White quartz is dense and stays cool against the skin, and its curved and notched edges are shaped to follow the jaw, cheekbone and brow. Regular practice helps move lymph and ease muscle tension in the face, which is where the de-puffed, lifted look comes from.

Never use it dry — apply a facial oil first or you will drag the skin. Hold the stone almost flat, at roughly a 15-degree angle, and use light pressure. Work outward and upward: centre of the chin to the ear along the jaw, side of the nose out along the cheekbone, brow up into the hairline. Three to five strokes per section, both sides. Wash it with soap and water afterwards.
