What makes handmade soap different?

Most 'soap' on a store shelf is technically a detergent. The process that makes real soap also creates glycerin — a naturally moisturizing byproduct — and commercial makers extract it to sell separately, leaving a harsher, more drying bar. Cold-process handmade soap keeps the glycerin in. That's the single biggest reason it feels different on your skin.

What is cold-process soap? No heat is applied while the soap cures, which preserves the qualities of each oil and keeps the natural glycerin in the finished bar.

What's in it? A base of coconut oil for lather, olive oil for conditioning, shea butter for moisture, and sustainable palm oil for a hard bar that lasts — in over forty scents. Some use real ingredients: Beer Soaps with real craft beer, Wine Soaps with real wine, Dead Sea Mud Soap with genuine Dead Sea mineral mud.

How long does a bar last? A 4 oz bar on a draining dish lasts three to four weeks with daily use.
