Condition & Rinse! (or don't!)

This bar can be whatever you want it to be! Want to use it like a normal conditioner? After shampooing, lather in your hands or apply the bar directly to your locks in a downward motion. Leave on your hair for a couple of minutes before rinsing off thoroughly (or don't rinse at all for a deep condition!) & then enjoy the feel of your refreshed locks.

Other ways you can use it:

Difficulty holding a bar? Then turn the conditioner bar into a liquid before use. Cut the bar into 8 pie wedges. In a small pan, add 8 ounces of water, add one piece of conditioner bar (or more if you want a thicker conditioner), heat water until almost boiling, then turn off the burner. Stir occasionally until completely dissolved. It takes about 5 minutes. Cool then pour liquid into your spray bottle or pumper, it will work in both types of dispensers. Shake before using because separation is normal. Prefer a spray-on conditioner? Liquifying the conditioner bar just like above & then adding it to a spray bottle is for you. Need a leave-in conditioner for deep conditioning days? Place the bar in a small amount of water, and it will go from a hard bar to a thick mouse-like consistency.

Pro tip: It may take less conditioner than you think! Try a small amount & see how your hair feels AFTER it is dry.

Wheat germ oil helps to hydrate dry hair, strengthen hair follicles, and boost shine while jojoba oil gives you added protection against dryness, breakage, and split ends. What makes Rinse's Conditioner Bar different from the conditioner I'm using?

The Lavender Conditioner Bar stands out due to its unique blend of natural ingredients oils. Most conditioners on the market have SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS)/SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (SLES) but these don't, making them gentler on your hair and better for you all the way around. The cherry-on-top is the fact that there is no plastic bottle at the end of your shampoo!

Behentrimonium methosulfate is listed on the ingredients & that sounds like a chemical. What is it?

Behentrimonium methosulfate might sound like a mouthful, but it’s actually a super gentle, plant-based emulsifier. It’s derived from rapeseed (Brassica napus Linnaeus), which is a natural, non-toxic source. We totally get that some ingredients with long names can feel a little intimidating, but don't worry at all, it's totally toxin free!

How long will a bar last?

Your Lavender Conditioner Bar will last up to 70 washes! That of course depends on how much you use but it can replace around 3-6 traditional bottles! People have said that it lasts them months!!

I have oily hair. Should I use this bar?

This Lavender Conditioner Bar contains coconut oil to boost dry hair so that's who is is specifically formulated for but coconut oil is great for a range of hair! We would recommend giving it a try & you can always switch over to another bar if it's too much for your hair. We love this bar for curly hair too since it has that extra coconut oil that your curls might be craving!

Do I need to be using conditioner?

We recommend following up with a conditioner bar but most likely you need less conditioner than you think so start off small. After your hair is dry, see if you need more the next wash. Conditioner can be a great tool for helping with breakage, damage, or even oiliness if your hair isn't getting the oil that it needs.

I feel like I'm not getting enough on my hair using the bar?

Because of the slick feel of the conditioner bar, you may not ‘feel’ like you are getting conditioner on your hands, but you are! Rub the bar and swipe your hair a few times if needed. Need even more conditioner? Try soaking your bar in some water to soften it and then try using it again. Maybe even try using it & not rinsing for a deep condition.
