Description

Original Deodorant is our aluminum-free natural deodorant, made to control odor and keep you feeling fresh — not to stop you from sweating. Sweating is something your body is meant to do; this stick simply keeps the smell in check while your skin does its thing. The Original scent is a cool, minty-herbal blend of eucalyptus, tea tree, lavender, and peppermint — 100% natural essential oils, no synthetic fragrance.

Instead of aluminum, it leans on arrowroot powder to help absorb surface moisture and a touch of baking soda to neutralize odor, while cocoa butter, coconut oil, and shea butter keep underarm skin soft and conditioned — handy for freshly shaved skin. It goes on smoothly and is made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Like all our products, it's handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia, where we've been making bath and body goods since 2003.

Ingredients

Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Arrowroot Powder, Baking Soda, Probiotic & Essential Oil Blend of Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Lavender & Peppermint

How to Use

Swipe onto clean, dry underarms — one or two passes is plenty. It works best right after a shower once your skin is dry. If you're switching from a conventional antiperspirant, keep the stick handy and reapply as needed during the first couple of weeks while your body adjusts.

Why we love it...

We were honestly skeptical a natural deodorant could hold its own — then this one did. It keeps odor in check without aluminum, the eucalyptus-tea tree-lavender-peppermint blend feels cool and fresh going on, and the cocoa, coconut, and shea butters leave underarm skin soft instead of tight or chalky. A little goes a long way, so the tube lasts longer than it looks.

Tips & Tricks

Apply to clean, dry skin — straight out of the shower once you're dry is ideal. One or two swipes is all you need; more product doesn't mean more protection. If you're new to natural deodorant, start on a weekend and give your body a couple of weeks to adjust, reapplying as needed in the meantime. Storing the tube capped and away from heat keeps it firm.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

Is Original Deodorant an antiperspirant?

No. It's a natural deodorant, so it controls odor and keeps you feeling fresh — it doesn't stop or reduce sweat. It's aluminum-free and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

I'm switching from a regular antiperspirant — what should I expect?

Give it a little time. When you come off an aluminum antiperspirant, your body goes through a real transition as your pores unclog, and for many people that takes about two weeks (sometimes a few weeks longer) before things settle. It's normal to notice more odor or dampness at first — keep the stick with you, reapply as needed, and stick with it. It's worth it.

What does the Original scent smell like?

Cool, clean, and minty-herbal. It's a blend of eucalyptus, tea tree, lavender, and peppermint essential oils — no synthetic fragrance. Some people notice a light cooling feel from the peppermint and eucalyptus.

Is it good for sensitive underarms?

It's made with skin-softening cocoa butter, coconut oil, and shea butter and no synthetic fragrance. It does contain a little baking soda to help neutralize odor, which some very sensitive skin can be reactive to — if that's you, apply a thin swipe or two. If you'd rather skip baking soda entirely, ask us about our other options.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

One stick lasts about 2-3 months with daily use. The tube looks small but it's deceptively long-lasting — a little goes a long way. Store at room temperature; if it gets too warm it can soften, but it firms right back up.
