Description

Here's a soap that pulls double duty. We take an invigorating blend of eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils, partner it with our handmade cold-process soap, and pour the whole thing over a natural loofah. One bar, two jobs: the loofah gently buffs while the lather cleanses.

Because it's made the slow, cold-process way, this bar keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out — so you rinse clean instead of tight, and the eucalyptus and mint smell exactly like the name promises. Shea butter, cocoa butter, and olive oil do the conditioning. Since the scent comes from pure essential oils, it's a 100% natural bar.

And the loofah keeps going after the soap wears down — hang on to it as a little reusable scrubber once the bar is gone. Made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates, and handmade in small batches in Monroe, Georgia since 2003.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Loofah, Eucalyptus Essential Oil, & Peppermint Essential Oil

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water. Use the loofah side in gentle circles to buff, then rinse thoroughly. Gentle enough for hands and body. Between uses, set it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries out and lasts longer.

Why we love it...

Two things in one bar, and neither feels like a compromise. The loofah gives you real exfoliation with no separate scrubber to keep clean, and the eucalyptus-mint essential oil blend is bright, cooling, and smells exactly like you'd hope. Because the scent is all essential oil, it's a 100% natural bar — and the kind you keep reordering once it earns a spot in your shower.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Fresh family is our clean, bright, wake-you-up collection — eucalyptus, peppermint, spearmint, and green botanicals that feel like splashing cold water on your face. These scents are energizing without being aggressive, clean without being clinical. They're the 'deep breath on a spring morning' of our lineup.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Cut the bar in half and use one piece while the other cures and hardens — both halves last longer that way. Store it somewhere it can dry out between showers. And once the soap's worn down, don't toss the loofah; it makes a handy little scrubber on its own.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

How does the built-in loofah work?

A natural loofah is poured right into the bar. As you wash, the loofah gently exfoliates while the soap lathers and cleanses — you exfoliate and cleanse in one step. When the soap wears away, the loofah's still good as a reusable scrubber.

Is it too rough for sensitive skin?

The natural loofah is gentler than most synthetic scrubbers, but it's still exfoliating. Use light pressure, let the lather do the work, and skip it over any irritated spots.

How long does the bar last?

Usually 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe and how it's stored. Keep it on a well-draining dish between uses and it'll go longer.

Can I use it on my face?

We'd keep this one to hands and body — the loofah's exfoliating texture is a bit much for delicate facial skin. For your face, reach for one of our regular cold-process bars.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

Expect roughly 4 to 6 weeks from a bar, give or take, depending on how often you lather up and how well it dries between uses. Keep it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, and it'll last on the longer end. Handmade in small batches, so scent and color vary a touch from batch to batch.
