Description

Pour yourself a glass, or a bar. White Zinfandel is a fruity, blush-pink wine, and this soap captures it: sweet undertones of red raspberries, currants, strawberries, and rose petals. It's the kind of scent that makes wine lovers and soap lovers equally happy.

It's a handmade cold-process bar, made in small batches in Monroe, Georgia the way we've done it since 2003. Because we don't strip out the natural glycerin the way big commercial bars do, it cleanses without leaving your skin tight or squeaky. Shea and cocoa butter, olive oil, and almond oil do the conditioning, while coconut and palm kernel oil build a rich, creamy lather.

For the record, there's no actual wine in here. The blush color comes from skin-safe mica and the scent from a carefully sourced fragrance oil, which keeps this bar 98% naturally derived. Made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Clay, Mica, & Fragrance

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water, using your hands, a washcloth, or the bar straight against your skin. Wash, then rinse. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body. To make it last, keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it can dry out between uses.

Why we love it...

It's grown-up and a little playful at the same time: a pretty blush bar that smells like your favorite pink wine but treats your skin like butter. It also makes a ridiculously good gift. Our customers love handing these out to their wine group.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Beer family is exactly what it sounds like — real craft beer ingredients in handmade soap. Hops, malt, and the natural sugars in beer create an incredibly rich, creamy lather that's genuinely great for your skin. These aren't gimmick soaps. The beer adds real benefits. The fact that they're fun to gift is just a bonus.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Cut the bar in half and use one piece at a time. The other half keeps curing and hardening while it waits, so both halves end up lasting longer. And always give the bar a dry, draining home between showers so it isn't sitting in water.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

Is there real wine in this soap?

No, and no antioxidant wine benefits either. The White Zinfandel scent comes from a skin-safe fragrance oil and the pretty blush color from mica. You get the fun of the wine, minus the hangover.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes. It's a gentle cold-process bar, so it works for face, hands, and body. The natural glycerin it keeps means it cleanses without leaving your skin feeling tight or stripped.

How long will a bar last?

Usually 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a draining dish out of standing water and it'll go the distance.

What makes it different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade cold-process in small batches, so it keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out. Made with shea butter, olive oil, and almond oil, and without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

A bar this pretty won't last forever. Figure on 4 to 6 weeks, give or take, depending on how often you lather up. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses, and it'll stick around as long as possible.
