Description

This is the scrub that turns to lotion. Fine cane sugar buffs away dull, dry, flaky skin, and as you add a little water and keep massaging, the shea butter and oils transform into a silky, creamy lotion that rinses clean. Exfoliating and moisturizing happen in one step.

You step out soft and genuinely moisturized — never greasy, never a heavy oil slick. The scent is Tobacco Vanilla: warm tobacco leaf wrapped in smooth vanilla, cozy and a little masculine with real depth.

Handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia since 2003. 99% naturally derived, and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Ingredients

Sucrose (Cane Sugar), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Fractionated Coconut Oil), Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid (paraben-free preservative), Fragrance, and Clay. 99% naturally derived.

How to Use

In the shower or bath, massage a small scoop onto damp skin in slow circular motions. As you work it in and add a little water, the sugar buffs while the butters and oils turn creamy — a light lotion instead of a gritty scrub. Focus on rough spots like elbows, knees, and heels, then rinse. Skin is left soft and moisturized, so you may not need extra lotion afterward. A little goes a long way, so go gentle rather than scrubbing hard. Caution: the oils can make the tub or shower floor slippery.

Why we love it...

It's the transformation. Most scrubs leave you standing in a greasy puddle or feeling stripped and tight — this one turns to a creamy lotion as you massage, so you finish buffed and genuinely moisturized in a single step. And Tobacco Vanilla is a keeper: warm, cozy, a little smoky, softened with vanilla.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Sweet family is our cozy, comforting crew — honey, vanilla, cocoa, and warm baked-goods notes that make everything feel a little more indulgent. These scents aren't sugary or artificial. They're the kind of sweet that makes people lean in and ask what you're wearing. Comforting, familiar, and just rich enough to feel like a treat.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Use it right before you shave — rinse away the sugar but leave the lotion layer, and let your razor glide. Warm up in the shower first so skin is damp and soft, then massage in small circles and add a splash of water to bring out the lotion. Keep the lid closed and excess water out of the jar so it stays fresh. Lovely paired with our Tobacco Vanilla soap.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

Will it leave my skin greasy?

No. As you massage, the sugar exfoliates while the shea butter and oils turn into a light lotion that rinses clean — you're left soft and moisturized, not oily. A little goes a long way.

How often should I use it?

About once or twice a week is plenty for most skin. Go easy with gentle circular motions rather than scrubbing hard, and let your skin set the pace.

Can I use it on my face?

Keep it to the body — arms, legs, and torso. Facial skin is more delicate; for the face, reach for one of our Face Masks instead.

What's the difference between a sugar scrub and a salt scrub?

Sugar grains are finer and gentler, so this suits most skin and everyday use. Salt scrubs are coarser and more invigorating. This is a sugar scrub — a gentle, moisturizing polish that turns to lotion as you work it in.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

One jar lasts 4-6 weeks with 2-3 uses per week. Resist the urge to use too much per session — a tablespoon-sized amount covers a lot of skin.
