Description

Teak & Mahogany is a handmade cold-process bar that smells like walking into a woodworker's shop: warm mahogany, cedarwood, and oak wrapped into one rich, confident scent. It leans masculine, but it's the kind of bar the whole house ends up fighting over.

Because it's cold-process, it keeps the natural glycerin that commercial bars strip out and sell back to you — so it cleanses your face, hands, and body without leaving skin tight or stripped. You get a dense, cushiony lather and a clean rinse, nothing squeaky about it.

Handmade in small batches in Monroe, Georgia since 2003, and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates. Scented with a skin-safe fragrance oil, so it's 98% naturally derived.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Mica, Oxide, Fragrance

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water. Massage over your face, hands, or body, then rinse clean. Between uses, set it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries out and lasts longer.

Why we love it...

This is the bar that quietly wins people over. It reads masculine on paper, but the warm mahogany-and-cedar scent is a crowd-pleaser, and the cold-process lather is dense and conditioning enough to use head to toe. A woodsy staple that feels like a treat without trying too hard.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Warm family is campfire smoke and cedar chips and that feeling you get when you step inside after a long day. These are the grounding scents — earthy, resinous, and unapologetically cozy. They don't shout. They just fill the room with the kind of warmth that makes you slow down and breathe.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

For the richest lather, let the bar soften under running water for a second or two before you build up the suds. Store it on a draining dish away from the direct water spray so it dries between uses — a bar that gets to dry out lasts noticeably longer than one left sitting in a puddle.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What makes Teak & Mahogany different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade in small batches with a cold-process method that keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out. That glycerin is what leaves your skin feeling clean but never tight.

Is it gentle enough to use on my face?

Yes. It's mild enough for face, hands, and body. The natural glycerin cleanses without the stripped, tight feeling you get from commercial bars — just rinse with warm water and pat dry.

How long will a bar last?

Usually about 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water and it'll go the distance.

What does Teak & Mahogany smell like?

Warm mahogany layered with cedarwood and oak — woodsy, cozy, and masculine, like a craftsman's workshop full of fine hardwoods. It's the scent people stop and ask about.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

With regular use, expect roughly 4 to 6 weeks per bar — it varies with how often you bathe and how you store it. To stretch it, keep the bar on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it fully dries between uses.
