Description

A bar of Fresh Bamboo Soap that does what commercial soap won't: leave your skin softer than before you washed. The base is built on shea butter, cocoa butter, and coconut oil — ingredients that actually moisturize instead of just sitting on top. Simple formula, no filler, the kind of ingredient list you can read without a chemistry degree.

Because it's cold-process, it keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out — that's why your skin feels clean and comfortable after, not tight. It's about 98% naturally derived and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates, which is good news if your skin tends to react to everything. With proper care, expect a bar to last around 4 to 6 weeks.

Scent-wise it's clean and spa-fresh: cool green bamboo that carries through the shower and settles into something soft and airy. Great for your own shower, a guest bathroom, or a gift for someone who thinks all soap is the same (they're wrong). Handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia since 2003.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Mica, Activated Charcoal, Peppermint Leaves, & Fragrance

How to Use

Wet your hands, body, or face, then work the bar into a rich lather with warm water. Massage into skin and rinse. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body. For the richest lather, let the bar soften under running water for a second or two before building suds. Store it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, between uses so it dries out and lasts longer.

Why we love it...

It's the clean-without-trying scent — cool green bamboo that reads fresh and spa-like instead of floral or fruity, so it works for just about everyone in the house. Pair that with a cold-process bar that lathers up thick and leaves skin soft instead of squeaky, and you've got the kind of everyday bar people quietly restock without thinking about it.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Fresh family is our clean, bright, wake-you-up collection — eucalyptus, peppermint, spearmint, and green botanicals that feel like splashing cold water on your face. These scents are energizing without being aggressive, clean without being clinical. They're the 'deep breath on a spring morning' of our lineup.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Let the bar dry out fully between showers — a draining dish or slatted soap saver keeps it out of standing water and easily adds weeks to its life. Traveling? Let it air-dry before you pack it in a tin so it isn't sitting in its own moisture. And to stretch a bar even further, cut it in half and keep the spare tucked away until you need it.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What makes Fresh Bamboo Soap different from store-bought soap?

We make it by hand in small batches using cold-process soapmaking, which keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out. That's what lets it clean without leaving skin dry or tight. Shea butter and cocoa butter round it out for a gentle, conditioning wash.

Is Fresh Bamboo Soap gentle enough for facial use?

Yes. It lathers into a creamy foam that lifts away dirt and oil without drying, and the natural glycerin from our cold-process method keeps skin feeling comfortable after washing. Gentle enough for face, hands, and body.

How long does Fresh Bamboo Soap last with daily use?

Usually around 4 to 6 weeks, though it depends on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses — the dense, butter-rich bar goes a lot further that way.

Is Fresh Bamboo Soap safe for sensitive skin?

It's about 98% naturally derived and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates, and the moisturizing shea-and-cocoa-butter base is gentle on most skin. Everyone's skin is different, though, so if you have specific allergies, check the full ingredient list first.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

Because these are small-batch bars with no hardeners or fillers, a bar tends to last about 4 to 6 weeks with daily use — give or take, depending on how often you lather up. Store it on a well-draining dish away from the direct stream of water so it can dry between uses, and it'll stay closer to the long end of that range.
