Description

Patchouli and sandalwood are a match made for the free-spirited: earthy, woodsy patchouli grounded by warm, creamy sandalwood for a little rugged spice. It's the kind of scent that settles in and stays with you.

Like every Rinse bar, this one is handmade cold-process, which means it keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out and sell back to you. You get a rich, creamy lather that cleanses without leaving skin tight or stripped — gentle enough for your face, hands, and body. Shea butter, olive oil, and coconut oil handle the conditioning, while a touch of powdered walnut shell adds the faintest bit of texture.

Handmade in small batches in Monroe, Georgia since 2003, and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates — 98% naturally derived.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Powdered Walnut Shell, Fragrance & Essential Oil

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich, creamy lather with warm water. Massage over your face, hands, or body, then rinse clean. Between uses, set it on a well-draining soap dish, out of standing water, so it dries out fully and lasts longer.

Why we love it...

There's a reason patchouli sandalwood has a cult following. It's warm, earthy, and a little rebellious — the scent equivalent of a well-worn leather jacket. Pair that with a lather that leaves skin soft instead of squeaky, and it's an easy one to reach for every single day.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Outdoors family is our fresh-air collection — pine, cedar, citronella, and other botanicals that belong outside. These scents are green, woody, and functional. They smell like the best version of being outdoors — campfire without the smoke in your eyes, forest without the bug bites.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Keep the bar on a well-draining dish between uses and out of the direct shower stream — a bar that dries fully lasts noticeably longer. The lather whips up rich and creamy, so a little goes a long way. And if the scent is your thing, tuck a spare bar in a drawer to keep your clothes smelling like it.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What makes Patchouli Sandalwood Soap different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade cold-process, so it keeps the natural glycerin big brands strip out and sell back to you separately. That's what lets it clean thoroughly without leaving your skin tight or dry.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body — the natural glycerin cleanses without that stripped, tight feeling. Just rinse with warm water and pat dry.

How long does a bar last?

With daily use, usually 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe and how it's stored. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of the water stream and it'll go longer.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

It's made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates, and the cold-process method keeps skin-loving glycerin in the bar. As with any new product, patch test first if your skin runs reactive.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

With daily use, expect this bar to last around 4 to 6 weeks — though it really comes down to how often you lather up and how well it dries between showers. Store it on a draining dish, out of standing water, and it'll go the distance.
