Description

This handmade Birthday Cake Soap cleans the way soap should — rich lather, real moisture, and no tight feeling after. Shea butter and cocoa butter do the heavy lifting, and the scent is pure vanilla-buttercream cake: sweet, sunny, and a little bit of a party in the shower.

What you won't find inside: parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or the filler ingredients that make commercial bars cheap to produce and hard on your skin. Simple formula, no filler — the kind of ingredient list you can read without a chemistry degree.

Because it's cold-process, the bar keeps its natural glycerin — the reason your skin feels moisturized after, not stripped. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body, something a lot of folks discover on their own. The birthday cake scent comes from a skin-safe fragrance oil, which keeps this bar 98% naturally derived, with its color from a touch of mica.

Handcrafted in small batches in Monroe, Georgia since 2003 — because cutting corners isn't really our thing.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Fragrance, and Mica.

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water. Massage over your face, hands, or body, then rinse clean. For the richest lather, let the bar soften under running water for a second or two before you build up the suds. Between uses, set it on a well-draining dish so it can dry out — a bar that dries between showers lasts a lot longer.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Sweet family is our cozy, comforting crew — honey, vanilla, cocoa, and warm baked-goods notes that make everything feel a little more indulgent. These scents aren't sugary or artificial. They're the kind of sweet that makes people lean in and ask what you're wearing. Comforting, familiar, and just rich enough to feel like a treat.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Cut the bar in half and use one piece at a time — the unused half keeps curing and the whole bar lasts longer. Keep it on a draining dish away from the direct stream of the shower so it isn't sitting in water. And give a new bar a use or two to hit its full, creamy lather.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What makes Birthday Cake Soap different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade in small batches using a cold-process method that keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out. That's what lets it clean without leaving your skin dry or tight — plus a simple, naturally derived formula built on shea and cocoa butter.

Is Birthday Cake Soap gentle enough for facial use?

Yes. The natural oils and butters clean without stripping your moisture barrier, so it works on face, hands, and body. Build a light lather, massage gently, and rinse with warm water.

How long will a bar of Birthday Cake Soap last?

With regular use, expect roughly 4 to 6 weeks — it varies with how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses, and it'll go the distance.

Is Birthday Cake Soap safe for sensitive skin?

Our formula skips common irritants and is made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates. Most sensitive-skin customers do well with it, though the birthday cake scent comes from a fragrance oil — if you're highly fragrance-sensitive, check the ingredient list first.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

A bar like this usually lasts 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how often you lather up and how you store it. The trick is letting it dry out between uses — a well-draining soap dish, out of any standing water, keeps the bar firm and stretches it as far as it'll go.
