Description

A bar of Cotton Soap that does what commercial soap won't: leave your skin softer than before you washed.

The base is built on cocoa butter and coconut oil — ingredients that actually moisturize instead of just sitting on top. Simple formula, no filler, the kind of ingredient list you can read without a chemistry degree.

The cold-process method preserves natural glycerin — that's why your skin feels moisturized after, not stripped. Free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and synthetic detergents — good news if your skin tends to react to everything.

Great for your own shower, a guest bathroom, or as a gift for someone who thinks all soap is the same (they're wrong).

Scent-wise: fresh. Scented with pure essential oils — present while you're using it, then settles into something soft and clean.

From Rinse's small-batch workshop in Monroe, Georgia — naturally derived, cruelty-free, and handmade since 2003. The kind of product that turns first-time buyers into repeat customers.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Fragrance, Oxide, and Walnut Shell Powder

How to Use

Wet your hands, body, or face, then rub the bar in gentle circular motions to build a lather. Massage into skin and rinse thoroughly with warm water. For exfoliating bars, use the loofah side in circular motions to gently buff skin. Store on a well-drained soap dish between uses to extend bar life.

Why we love it...

Every bar starts with the same cold-process method Heather learned in 2002 — slow-cured for weeks so the oils have time to saponify naturally. No shortcuts, no detergents, no synthetic hardeners. Just real soap that lathers rich and leaves your skin feeling like skin, not plastic wrap.

We obsess over the lather. That thick, creamy foam you get from a Rinse bar isn't an accident — it's the result of carefully balancing coconut oil for bubbles, olive oil for conditioning, and shea butter for richness. Most commercial soaps strip your skin's natural oils. Ours work with them.

This one brings clean, bright botanicals to the experience — because your shower should be something you look forward to, not just something you get through.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Fresh family is our clean, bright, wake-you-up collection — eucalyptus, peppermint, spearmint, and green botanicals that feel like splashing cold water on your face. These scents are energizing without being aggressive, clean without being clinical. They're the 'deep breath on a spring morning' of our lineup.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Store your bar on a well-drained soap dish between uses — keeping it dry between showers extends its life significantly. For the richest lather, work the bar between wet hands for 10-15 seconds before applying to skin. Our soaps are gentle enough for daily face and body use.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What makes Cotton Soap different from store-bought soap?

Cotton Soap is handmade in small batches using a cold-process method that retains natural glycerin — something commercial soaps strip out., featuring Refined Sweet Almond Oil and Oxide A sweet soft scent that will make you a bit nostalgic for those warm summer days playing outside.

Does Cotton Soap work as a facial cleanser?

Absolutely. Cotton Soap lathers into a creamy foam that lifts impurities without drying. The natural glycerin retained in our cold-process method keeps your skin comfortable after washing.

How long does Cotton Soap last with daily use?

Expect 4–6 weeks from Cotton Soap with daily use. Two tips: use a well-draining dish, and don't leave it in the shower stream. The high butter content creates a dense bar that holds up well.

Is Cotton Soap safe for sensitive skin?

Yes — Cotton Soap contains no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, or synthetic detergents. Includes Refined Sweet Almond Oil and Oxide. The cold-process method retains natural glycerin which helps soothe rather than strip. Patch test if you have reactive skin.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

A full bar lasts 3-4 weeks with daily shower use. Store on a draining dish between uses to maximize its life. The bar will naturally shrink as the good stuff transfers to your skin — that's how you know it's working.
