Rugged is a natural, aluminum-free deodorant with a bold, woodsy, outdoorsy scent. It is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant — it controls odor and keeps you feeling fresh, while letting your body sweat and cool the way it is meant to.

Made without aluminum and formulated without parabens, phthalates, or sulfates, Rugged is about 98% naturally derived. Shea, cocoa, and coconut butters condition the delicate skin under your arms, arrowroot gives it a smooth, powder-soft finish, and it glides on clean without chalky residue.

How to Use

Swipe onto clean, dry underarms — a pass or two is all you need. It works best applied after a shower, once your skin is dry. If you are switching from a conventional antiperspirant, keep it handy and reapply through the day for the first couple of weeks while your body adjusts.

Apply to clean, dry skin right after your shower for the best hold. A swipe or two is plenty — a little goes a long way. New to natural deodorant? Keep it in your bag and reapply during the first couple of weeks while your body adjusts; it settles for most people around the two-week mark.

Is Rugged an antiperspirant?

No. Rugged is a natural, aluminum-free deodorant. It neutralizes odor and keeps you feeling fresh, but it does not block or stop sweat — your body sweats to cool itself, and that is a good thing.

I'm switching from a regular antiperspirant. What should I expect?

Give it a little time. When you stop using an aluminum antiperspirant, your pores unclog and your body may sweat more for a stretch — for many people it settles in about two weeks. Stick with it, reapply as needed early on, and it gets easier.

Is it gentle on sensitive skin?

Rugged is made with skin-conditioning shea, cocoa, and coconut butters and is free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates. It does contain baking soda to help control odor; if your skin tends to be sensitive to baking soda, apply a thin layer to start.

What does Rugged smell like?

A bold, woodsy, outdoorsy scent — masculine and clean without being overpowering.
