Description

This handmade Blue Citrus Soap cleans the way soap should — a rich, creamy lather, real moisture, and none of that tight, stripped feeling after you rinse. The scent is cool and crisp citrus, fresh enough for a slow morning shower or a quick post-workout rinse.

The base is built on shea butter, cocoa butter, and skin-loving oils — ingredients that actually condition instead of just sitting on top. Because it's cold-process, it keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out, so skin feels soft rather than squeaky. Gentle enough for face, hands, and body. What you won't find inside: sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Made by hand in small batches in Monroe, Georgia, by the same family that's been doing this since 2003. It's scented with a skin-safe fragrance oil — that's the 98% naturally derived part — with a touch of mica for that signature blue.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Mica, & Fragrance

How to Use

Wet your hands, body, or face, then work the bar into a rich lather with warm water. Massage into skin and rinse thoroughly. Store on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, so it dries fully between uses and lasts longer. Pro tip: let the bar soften under running water for a second or two before building suds for the richest lather.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Keep it on a well-draining soap dish, out of standing water, so it dries fully between uses — that's the single best way to make it last. Let the bar soften under running water for a few seconds before you build your lather for the richest suds. Traveling? Let it dry out first, then tuck it into a breathable cloth or tin so it doesn't turn to mush.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What makes Blue Citrus Soap different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade with the cold-process method, which keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out — that's what cleanses without leaving your skin dry or tight. Made in small batches with shea butter, cocoa butter, and skin-loving oils, and without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Does Blue Citrus Soap work as a facial cleanser?

Yes. The cold-process formula is gentle enough for your face — build a light lather, massage in, and rinse with warm water. The natural oils and butters clean without stripping your skin's natural moisture.

How long will a bar of Blue Citrus Soap last?

Usually 4–6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe and how it's stored. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses and it'll last longer.

Is Blue Citrus Soap safe for sensitive skin?

It's made with naturally derived ingredients and without the sulfates, parabens, and phthalates that bother a lot of people. Everyone's skin is different, though, so check the full ingredient list if you have known sensitivities.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

A handmade bar like this typically lasts 4–6 weeks — though that really depends on how often you're lathering up and how you store it. Set it on a well-draining dish away from the shower stream so it can dry between uses, and you'll get every last sud out of it.
