Description

Peony's abounding bloom and cherished beauty, captured in a scent that's delicate, fun, and a little flirty. It's fresh and feminine, lighter and more modern than a classic rose, and it turns an ordinary shower into something that feels a touch more special.

Like all our bars, Peony is handmade in small batches using the cold-process method, which keeps the natural glycerin most commercial soaps strip out and sell back to you. That means it cleanses without leaving your skin tight or dry. A saponified blend of shea and cocoa butters, olive oil, sweet almond, sunflower, and coconut oils works up a rich, creamy lather that rinses clean and leaves skin feeling soft.

Gentle enough for face, hands, and body, and scented with a clean, skin-safe fragrance oil, so it's 98% naturally derived. Made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates. Handmade by our family in Monroe, Georgia since 2003.

Ingredients

Saponified blend of Shea & Cocoa Butters, Olive, Refined Sweet Almond, High Oleic Sunflower, Coconut Oil, responsibly sourced Palm Kernel Oil along with Mica & Fragrance Oils.

How to Use

Wet your hands, a washcloth, or the bar itself and work up a rich lather in warm water. Massage over your face, hands, and body, then rinse. For the richest suds, let the bar soften under the running water for a second or two before you build your lather. Store it on a well-draining dish, out of the direct stream, so it dries between uses and lasts longer.

Why we love it...

That peony scent is pure fun, delicate and a little flirty, fresh and feminine without tipping into old-fashioned rose. Pair it with a lather this creamy and a formula that leaves skin soft instead of squeaky, and it's the kind of everyday bar that makes a plain shower feel like a small treat.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Floral family is our calming collection — lavender, rose, jasmine, and other flower-forward scents that settle the nervous system as much as they please the nose. These aren't perfume-counter florals. They're garden florals — soft, real, and grounding. The kind that make a room feel like a sanctuary.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Let the bar dry out fully between uses on a well-draining dish, and it'll reward you by lasting weeks longer. The creamy lather is generous, so you don't need to scrub hard to get plenty of suds. Love the scent? It makes a sweet little gift or stocking stuffer, and it pairs beautifully with the rest of your floral favorites.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What does Peony Soap smell like?

Delicate, fun, and a little flirty. It's a fresh, feminine peony bloom that reads lighter and more modern than a classic rose. Romantic without being heavy.

Is Peony Soap gentle enough for my face?

Yes. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body. Because it's cold-process, it keeps its natural glycerin, so it cleanses without leaving skin tight or stripped. If your skin is reactive, patch test first.

How long will a bar last?

Usually somewhere between 4 and 6 weeks, though it depends on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, so it can dry between uses and go the distance.

What makes it different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade in small batches with the cold-process method, which keeps the natural glycerin big brands strip out. No sulfates, parabens, or phthalates, just a rich, creamy lather that leaves skin soft instead of squeaky.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

Give or take, a bar lasts about 4 to 6 weeks, but it really comes down to how often you bathe and how you treat it between showers. Keep it on a well-draining dish, out of the standing water, and let it dry out fully between uses. A happy, dry bar lasts a good bit longer, so it's worth the extra second of care.
