Sugar is the gentle one. The rounded crystals dissolve more easily in water and stay small enough to use on sensitive skin, even the face, without the irritation a coarser scrub can cause. The exfoliation is still very real — dead skin lifts away — it's just gentler about it, without the aggressive grit that can leave you red or reactive. That's also why sugar scrubs suit a daily or near-daily routine rather than a once-a-week intensive.

Our Sugar Scrub collection uses nourishing botanical oils as the base, so as the sugar melts away it leaves a thin layer of moisture behind instead of taking your skin's natural oils with it. Scents include Blue Hawaiian, Coconut Mango, Fresh Fig, Pomegranate, Tobacco Vanilla, and more. Apply on damp skin, work in circles, rinse. The moisturizing effect is real enough that most folks find they reach for far less body lotion afterward. On very dry days, layer with a Body Spread for an extra cushion of moisture.
