Description

Tobacco Vanilla lathers up rich and rinses clean without leaving your skin tight. Rich tobacco leaf softened with warm vanilla — sophisticated, a little cozy, and surprisingly unisex. It's the rare warm-and-masculine bar that everyone ends up borrowing.

The base is built on shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, and coconut oil — ingredients that actually moisturize instead of just sitting on top. A simple formula — 98% naturally derived, made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates — the kind of ingredient list you can read without a chemistry degree.

Because it's cold-process, the bar keeps the natural glycerin most commercial soaps strip out — so your skin feels conditioned, not stripped. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body.

Handmade in small batches in Monroe, Georgia, where Heather started making soap over twenty years ago. The color comes from skin-safe mica, charcoal, and cocoa — there's no actual tobacco in the bar, just a warm fragrance we fell for.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Mica, Activated Charcoal, Cocoa Powder, & Sea Salt

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water. Massage over face, hands, or body in gentle circular motions, then rinse clean. For the fullest lather, let the bar soften under the water for a few seconds before you build suds — a washcloth helps too. Between showers, set it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it can dry out and last longer.

Why we love it...

This is the scent a longtime customer asked Heather to make for years, and we're so glad it finally arrived. Rich tobacco leaf and warm vanilla read sophisticated on just about everyone who tries it — it's the rare bar that starts out feeling masculine and quietly turns unisex. The shea-and-cocoa-butter base makes an everyday wash feel more like a treat, and it's the kind of warm, grounding scent that gets complimented.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

For the biggest lather, wet the bar and let it soften under the water for a few seconds before you work up suds — a washcloth or hand towel helps things along. Store it on a draining dish away from the direct stream so it dries between uses. Shopping for a gift? It's an easy win for anyone who leans warm and cozy.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What makes Tobacco Vanilla Soap different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade in small batches with a cold-process method that keeps the natural glycerin commercial bars strip out. That's why it cleanses without leaving skin tight, and why the ingredient list stays short — made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Is it gentle enough for facial use?

Yes. The shea butter, cocoa butter, and olive oil base cleanses without stripping your moisture barrier, so it works on face, hands, and body. Build a light lather, massage gently, and rinse with warm water.

How long does a bar last?

Usually 4–6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of the shower stream and it'll go the distance.

What does Tobacco Vanilla smell like?

Rich tobacco leaf warmed with smooth vanilla — sophisticated, cozy, and easy to wear. The scent comes from a phthalate-free fragrance oil, so there's no actual tobacco in the bar.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

Most bars last about 4–6 weeks, though it really comes down to how often you bathe and how it's stored. To stretch every wash, keep it on a well-draining soap dish out of standing water so it can dry between uses — a bar left sitting in a puddle wears down fast.
