Description

Real stout goes into every batch of this one, and you can feel what it does the moment you lather up. The beer whips into an exceptionally creamy, dense foam you just don't get from an ordinary bar.

The base is built on cocoa butter, shea butter, and coconut oil — the kind of ingredients that actually condition your skin instead of sitting on top of it. Because it's cold-process, it keeps the natural glycerin that commercial bars strip out, so your skin feels moisturized after your shower, not tight. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body.

The scent is deep dark chocolate with a roasted stout note — indulgent, a little unexpected, and not candy-sweet. Handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia since 2003, and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Ingredients

Saponified Beer, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Chocolate, & Fragrance

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water. Massage over your face, hands, or body, then rinse thoroughly. Store it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, so it dries between uses and lasts longer. Pro tip: let the bar soften under running water for a few seconds before building suds for the creamiest lather.

Why we love it...

There's something a little magic about what beer does to soap. The stout gives this bar a lather so creamy and dense it feels almost decadent, and the dark-chocolate-and-roasted-malt scent turns an everyday wash into a treat. It's the rare gift for him that's genuinely nice to use.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Beer family is exactly what it sounds like — real craft beer ingredients in handmade soap. Hops, malt, and the natural sugars in beer create an incredibly rich, creamy lather that's genuinely great for your skin. These aren't gimmick soaps. The beer adds real benefits. The fact that they're fun to gift is just a bonus.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Give it a well-draining dish and let it dry fully between uses — that's the single best thing you can do to stretch its life. Let the bar soften under warm running water for a few seconds before you build a lather for the creamiest suds.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

Does Chocolate Stout Beer Soap actually contain real beer?

It does — real stout is saponified right into the bar; it's the first thing on the ingredient list, and it's what gives this soap its thick, extra-creamy lather.

Will it make me smell like beer?

No. The scent is deep dark chocolate with a roasted stout note — rich and a little unexpected, not a brewery. It's there while you wash, then rinses clean.

Is it gentle enough for my face?

Yes. Because it's cold-process, it keeps its natural glycerin, so it cleanses your face, hands, and body without leaving skin feeling tight or stripped.

How should I store it so it lasts?

Keep it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, so it can dry between uses. Stored that way, a bar typically lasts 4-6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

With regular use, expect a bar to last around 4-6 weeks — though that varies with how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, so it dries between uses and lasts as long as possible.
