Description

A bar of Amber Chocolate Soap that does what commercial soap won't: leaves your skin softer than before you washed. It's built on shea butter, cocoa butter, and coconut oil — ingredients that actually moisturize instead of just sitting on top.

The formula is simple, no filler, the kind of ingredient list you can read without a chemistry degree. Because it's cold-process, it keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out, so skin feels clean and conditioned instead of tight.

Scent-wise: warm amber wrapped around deep, cacao-rich dark chocolate — cozy and a little indulgent, like a truffle tucked in a cashmere blanket. It's scented with a skin-safe fragrance blend, which is why the bar is 98% naturally derived.

Great for your own shower, a guest bathroom, or a gift for someone who thinks all soap is the same (they're wrong). Handmade in small batches in Monroe, Georgia, where Rinse Bath & Body Co. has been making things by hand since 2003.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Gourmet Cocoa Powder, Fragrance.

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich, creamy lather with warm water. Massage over your face, hands, or body in gentle circular motions, then rinse well and pat dry. Store it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses and lasts longer.

Pro tip: let the bar soften under running water for a second before you build suds — it lathers even richer, and the creamy lather makes it a nice shave bar, too.

Why we love it...

It's basically dessert for your shower, minus the calories. The cocoa powder gives it a genuine chocolatey warmth, the shea and cocoa butter leave skin soft instead of squeaky, and the whole thing smells like something you'd want to unwrap. This is the bar that makes people who swear they 'don't care about soap' suddenly care a lot about soap.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Outdoors family is our fresh-air collection — pine, cedar, citronella, and other botanicals that belong outside. These scents are green, woody, and functional. They smell like the best version of being outdoors — campfire without the smoke in your eyes, forest without the bug bites.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Keep it on a well-draining dish, out of the direct stream of the shower, so it firms up between uses and lasts longer. For a richer lather, use a washcloth or let the bar soften under warm water for a second first. The creamy lather also makes it a nice shave bar for legs and face.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What does Amber Chocolate Soap smell like?

Warm amber wrapped around deep, cacao-rich dark chocolate — cozy and a little indulgent, like a truffle in a cashmere blanket. The scent comes from a skin-safe fragrance blend, which is why the bar is 98% naturally derived rather than 100%.

Can I use Amber Chocolate Soap on my face?

Yes. It's a gentle cold-process bar, so it's happy on face, hands, and body. Because it keeps its natural glycerin, it cleanses without leaving skin tight or stripped. If you have specific sensitivities, give the full ingredient list a look first.

How long does a bar last?

Usually 4–6 weeks, depending on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses — that's the single best way to stretch its life.

What makes it different from store-bought soap?

It's handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia, using a cold-process method that keeps the natural glycerin commercial bars strip away. Made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates — just a simple, moisturizing bar with shea and cocoa butter.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

Expect a bar to last around 4–6 weeks, though it really depends on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining soap dish out of standing water so it dries fully between uses — a soggy bar disappears far faster than a dry one.
