Description

Nectar smells like honey gathered from fields of lavender, blended with honey from a local beekeeper — sweet, floral, and warm all at once. Like burying your nose in a flower and tasting honey. It's a scent that's completely its own.

This is a handmade cold-process bar, made with shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, and a touch of real honey, so it's as moisturizing as it is rich. Because it's cold-process, it keeps the natural glycerin that commercial bars strip out — you get a soft, comfortable clean instead of that tight, stripped feeling. Gentle enough for your face, hands, and body.

Handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia since 2003, and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates. Because Nectar is scented with a fragrance oil, the bar is 98% naturally derived.

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Honey Honeycomb, Fragrance.

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water, then wash and rinse. Gentle enough for face, hands, and body. Between uses, set the bar on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it can dry out — a bar that dries between uses lasts longer.

Why we love it...

Nectar is one of those scents that stops people mid-shower — sweet, honeyed, and floral without ever turning perfumey. The cold-process base whips into a thick, velvety lather, and with shea butter, cocoa butter, and a bit of real honey in the mix, it leaves your skin feeling soft instead of squeaky. It's a little bit of springtime you can keep in the shower all year.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Fresh family is our clean, bright, wake-you-up collection — eucalyptus, peppermint, spearmint, and green botanicals that feel like splashing cold water on your face. These scents are energizing without being aggressive, clean without being clinical. They're the 'deep breath on a spring morning' of our lineup.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Keep Nectar on a well-draining soap dish, out of the direct spray, so it can dry between uses — a bar that dries out lasts noticeably longer. If you like, cut the bar in half and keep one piece in service while the other stays dry. A washcloth or bath pouf will build up even more of that rich lather.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What does Nectar soap smell like?

Sweet, honeyed, and floral — like honey gathered from fields of lavender blended with honey from a local beekeeper. It's warm and a little delicate, completely its own scent. Nectar is scented with a fragrance oil, so the bar is 98% naturally derived.

Is Nectar gentle enough for my face?

Yes. Because it's cold-process, Nectar keeps its natural glycerin and cleanses without leaving skin tight or stripped, so it's gentle enough for face, hands, and body. If your skin is reactive, patch test first.

How long will a bar of Nectar last?

With daily use, expect roughly 4 to 6 weeks — it varies with how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep the bar on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses, and it'll last longer.

What is Nectar made without?

We make Nectar without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates, and skip the harsh detergents you find in a lot of commercial soap. It's handmade in small batches in Monroe, Georgia, and 98% naturally derived.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

A bar of Nectar typically lasts about 4 to 6 weeks, though it really depends on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish, away from standing water, so it dries between uses — that's the single best way to stretch its life.
