Description

A bar of Cotton Soap that does what commercial soap won't: leave your skin softer than before you washed. The scent is that clean, just-out-of-the-dryer cotton — soft, fresh, and a little nostalgic for warm summer days spent playing outside.

It's built on shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, and coconut oil — ingredients that actually moisturize instead of just sitting on top. Because it's cold-process, the bar keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out, so your skin feels conditioned after a wash, never tight. Made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates, and 98% naturally derived.

Gentle enough for face, hands, and body, and handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia since 2003. Great for your own shower, a guest bath, or a gift for someone who still thinks all soap is the same (they're wrong).

Ingredients

Saponified Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Refined Sweet Almond Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Responsibly Sourced Palm Kernel Oil, Fragrance, Oxide, and Walnut Shell Powder

How to Use

Wet the bar and work it into a rich lather with warm water. Massage over your face, hands, or body, then rinse thoroughly. For the creamiest suds, let the bar soften under running water for a second or two before building a lather. Because it's a naked cold-process bar, it lasts longest when it dries out between uses — set it on a well-draining dish, out of the shower stream.

Why we love it...

It's the scent that gets everyone — that clean, just-washed cotton smell that somehow makes a plain bar of soap feel like a small treat. Pair it with a cold-process base that leaves skin soft instead of stripped, and you've got the kind of everyday bar people quietly reorder without thinking twice.

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY

Meet The Family

The Fresh family is our clean, bright, wake-you-up collection — eucalyptus, peppermint, spearmint, and green botanicals that feel like splashing cold water on your face. These scents are energizing without being aggressive, clean without being clinical. They're the 'deep breath on a spring morning' of our lineup.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

Tips & Tricks

Set the bar on a well-draining dish between uses, out of the shower stream, so it dries fully and lasts longer — a soggy bar disappears fast. Let it soften under warm water for a second or two before you build a lather for the creamiest suds. Tuck one in the guest bath and wait for people to ask what that smell is.

Let's Talk About It

Have any questions?

What does Cotton Soap smell like?

Soft, clean cotton — think fresh laundry and warm summer air. It's a fragrance-scented bar (that's why it's 98% naturally derived), light and easy to live with for everyday use.

Can I use Cotton Soap on my face?

Yes. It's gentle enough for face, hands, and body. The cold-process method keeps the natural glycerin most commercial bars strip out, so your skin feels comfortable and conditioned after washing, not squeaky-tight.

How long does a bar last?

Usually about 4-6 weeks, though it depends on how often you bathe and how you store it. Keep it on a well-draining dish out of standing water so it dries between uses, and it'll go the distance.

What is Cotton Soap made without?

We source out sulfates, parabens, and phthalates. It's a 98% naturally derived, cold-process bar built on shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, and coconut oil. If your skin runs reactive, patch test first.

GOOD THINGS DON'T LAST FOREVER

Enjoy It While You Can

Expect roughly 4-6 weeks from a bar, depending on how often you lather up and how it's stored. Keep it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, so it dries between uses. Store any extras somewhere cool and dry and the cotton scent holds until you're ready for them.
