Description
Description
Activated charcoal and clay, mixed fresh the night you use it. CharClay is a loose powder — a teaspoon stirred with water, ten minutes on, rinsed warm. One or two nights a week for oily skin and congested pores. No scent at all. Handmade in Monroe, Georgia.
Activated charcoal is porous at a microscopic scale, which is what lets it bind oil and debris and carry them off when you rinse. Paired with clay, it's the most drawing mask in the range — the one for a T-zone that's shiny by lunchtime, or for skin that is congested rather than merely dull. You will feel it working.
Stir roughly a teaspoon with water into a smooth paste — witch hazel instead of water if your skin runs very oily. Spread a thin layer over clean skin, avoid the eyes, and give it ten minutes. Rinse warm and follow with a moisturizer; a drawing mask always wants something after it. Once or twice a week is plenty, less if your skin feels tight afterwards.
Fragrance-free — no essential oils, no fragrance oils, nothing to compete with a perfume or irritate reactive skin. Mixed by hand in small batches in Monroe, Georgia, cruelty-free and gluten-free, with no parabens, phthalates or sulfates.

How often should I use Charclay Face Mask?
We recommend 1–2 times per week for most skin types. Apply a thin, even layer to clean skin, avoiding the eye and lip area. Leave on 10–15 minutes until partially dry, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. A blend of Activated Charcoal & Bentonite Clay make a dynamic duo to freshen & soften while cleaning your skin of impurities.
