Description

There's a natural loofah set right into this bar. As you lather up, the loofah works alongside the soap to buff away the day while the rich, creamy suds do the cleansing — so you exfoliate and wash in one easy step, no separate scrubber to keep track of. The scent is clean, fresh bamboo: light, green, and a little spa-like.

Because it's cold-process, this bar keeps the natural glycerin that commercial soaps strip out, so it cleanses without leaving skin tight or squeaky. Shea butter, cocoa butter, and olive oil are known for softening and conditioning, so you rinse off feeling smooth instead of stripped. It's 98% naturally derived and made without sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

Handmade in small batches by our family in Monroe, Georgia — the same way we've done it since 2003. And here's the nice part: as the bar wears down, the loofah keeps going. Pop it out and keep using it as a little scrubber until it's gone.

How to Use

Wet the bar and work up a rich lather with warm water. Use the loofah side in gentle circular motions to buff your skin, then rinse thoroughly. It's great for hands and body — go lighter (or stick to the smooth, soapy side) on your face. Store it on a well-draining dish, out of standing water, so it dries between uses and lasts longer.

Tips & Tricks

Save the loofah side for the spots that need it most — elbows, knees, and feet — and use the smooth side for everyday lathering. Store the bar on a draining dish between showers so both the soap and the loofah dry out and last longer. When the soap finally wears away, keep the leftover loofah and use it as a scrubber.

How does the built-in loofah work?

A natural loofah is embedded right in the bar. As you wash, the loofah gently exfoliates while the soap lathers and cleanses — scrub and cleanse in one step, no separate pouf needed.

Is it gentle enough for my face?

The loofah side is meant for exfoliating the body. You can still use the soapy lather on your face — just go light and keep the loofah off delicate skin. For a plain daily face bar, try one of our non-loofah cold-process soaps.
